Blocked Sources and Scrub Services
What are Blocked Sources and Scrub Services?
Blocked Sources lets you prevent certain lead sources (e.g. sub-affiliates, publishers, or vendors) from sending leads into your Mav account. If a source continues to submit leads, Mav will automatically reject them and you can track rejection reasons.
Scrub Services enables you to automatically check incoming leads against external suppression lists and block submissions that match. Currently Mav supports scrubbing against the Blacklist Alliance and the DNC.com database.
These two features work together to give you more control over lead quality and compliance.

Use cases & best practices
-
Reject known low-quality sources: If a vendor continuously sends invalid or fraudulent leads, block them to prevent further damage to your conversion metrics.
-
Ensure compliance with Do-Not-Call rules: With Scrub Services, you reduce legal and regulatory risk when contacting leads by phone.
-
Maintain list hygiene: Scrubbing protects you from wasting resources on leads that are already suppressed due to prior complaints or blacklist registration.
